Laser Tracker System:

Laser Tracker can accurately locate a point in 3D space with metrology-grade accuracy without the need for a reflector at the point of measurement. The first ever Scanning Absolute Distance Meter, a metrology-grade iteration of this technical principle that can locate a point to within 300 microns from up to 60 meters away. By measuring a series of the points across a user-definable measurement area, the laser tracker can quickly produce a measurement grid defining the target measurement surface. The density of that point-grid is also customizable, putting the operator in complete control of the balance between process speed and the level of detail that will feed into your metrology software.

Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) 9.12.8:

Precision Measurement and Design is capable of performing CMM measurement services on large parts using one of the most accurate CMM called Global S Chrome with the accuracy of 1.3 micron. We can also perform untouched CMM scanning on this machine. The work volume of this new CMM is 900 mm in X axis, 1200 mm in Y axis, and 800 mm in Z axis. The CMM has a calibration certificate under ISO 17025.

CMM 4.5.4

Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) 4.5.4:

Precision Measurement and Design has a brand new CMM which provides accurate and repeatable measurement on different manufactured parts. The volumetric accuracy of this machine is as high as 0.005 mm and the work volume is 355 mm in X axis, 514 mm in Y axis, and 353 mm in Z axis. Our CMM has the calibration certificate under ISO 17025.

8525-7 Romer

Portable Measuring Arm (Romer):

Another technical equipment we have at Precision Measurement and Design is the brand new 8525-7 portable Measuring Arm (Romer). Our Romer is capable of both 3D scanning and touch probing. The accuracy of the 3D scanning is 0.048 mm and the accuracy of the touch probing is 0.025 mm. Our Romer has the calibration certificate under ISO 17025.

RS5 Laser Scanner

RS5 Laser Scanner:

The RS5 Laser Scanner delivers high-speed 3D scanning for surfaces and features on a wide range of finishes and materials. The accuracy of our scanner is 0.028 mm and the point acquisition rate is 752000 points per second. With this capability, we are able to perform fast scanning on complex surfaces and use the 3D dimensional data for inspection and reverse engineering purposes.

PC-DMIS CAD:

The CMM software we use at Precision Measurement and Design is PC-DMIS CAD, the most popular CMM software in the world and most compatible one with most of our customer’s CMM. PC-DMIS enables us to create measurement routines before the parts exist and without occupying the CMM.

Polyworks Inspector is the 3D dimensional analysis and quality control solution to gain control of products engineering and manufacturing process. With our High accurate portable measurement arm and the best known software, we can provide the best 3D dimensional inspection as well as reverse engineering the parts.
